Do you have a minimum order?

Yes we have a $35.00 Minimum order charge for all small orders. We don't invoice anything under $35.00+GST ($38.50 inc. GST)

How long does it take to make my order?

Our production time is normally 3-5 business days form purchase order placed & artwork approval this applies to all standard orders,this is how long before your order will be dispatched from our factory in Melbourne. On the day it's sent you will receive an email from us to tell you it's on its way.This will include your parcel tracking ID code and a link to the parcel tracking website so that you can find out the exact status of your delivery in transit. If you are picking up the package yourself an SMS will be sent to your mobile device to let you know it's ready for pickup or you will be called advising you the goods are ready.

How much is delivery?

We deliver your order for a flat delivery fee of just $15.00+GST to anywhere in Australia for all small package orders under 3KG.
Larger items have to be estimated please contact us if you want to find out the cost of any bulky, heavy or larger deliveries above 3KG.

What method / carrier do you use to deliver my order?

Inscribe Australia uses Australia Post Express Parcel, TOLL & Couriers Please for local deliveries we only use the most reliable courier services, to deliver your parcels throughout Australia. Express Post & TOLL courier services are a premium and next day service. Most orders are delivered with in 24-48 hours. Most local orders or are delivered in 1-2 working days, although you may have to allow more time if you live in a remote country location.

Can you deliver to my house?

Yes Express Post ONLY, although it is always preferable to deliver packages to a business premises.  Why?  It is much safer as it allows for someone to personally receive the package

Is my delivery insured?

NO! We do not insure your delivery. How ever comprehensive transit insurance when you place your order for an additional fee is available.  Rest assured that your order is well packaged and will reach you in mint condition.

Do you deliver to places outside of Australia?

We mostly only accept orders for delivery within Australia, however you can send us an email with your request and depending on what you need we'll see if we can help you out.  Delivery charges for overseas deliveries will not be at our standard flat rate of $15.00 and will be dependent on Australia Post's charges to that destination. If you have your own international carrier EG: TNT DHL or FEDEX this will make things easier.

Can I collect my order to save on delivery charges?

You may choose the 'PickUp' option when placing your order to save money and collect from our Melbourne showroom during opening hours.

What if my order is delayed, lost or damaged when being delivered?

Your satisfaction is our primary focus which is why we use the best and most reliable courier (Australia Express Post) to deliver your order.  When your order is dispatched from our location in Melbourne we will email you to let you know it's on its way; we'll also give you the parcel tracking code and a link to the Express Post tracking website so that you can find out the exact status of your delivery.  If your order arrives damaged and you have chosen the transit insurance option (see the question above 'is my delivery insured?') when placing your order, please contact us and we will replace your order as a matter of priority.

I need to make a change to an order I have already placed. How can I do that?

It is important to check your order thoroughly before you submit it.  Changes may delay your order and incur additional charges, however we understand that last minute needs arise.  Please contact us as soon as you can by phone or email and we will determine the best course of action.

How do I check the status of my order?

All standard orders will be completed within our 3-5 business day production time.  When your order is dispatched from our Melbourne Factory location we will email you to let you know it's on its way.  We'll also give you the parcel tracking code and a link to the eParcel tracking website so that you can find out the exact status of your delivery.  If you need to make changes or additions to your order please contact us as soon as possible.

What if I want to order the same as last time? Do you keep that information?

If you have previously ordered from us, on your account, in our system we can view previous orders.  As many products that we manufacture or supply may vary from year to year we are unable to guarantee that we can duplicate orders, although 90% of the time this is possible. We require some information from the last order EG: date, invoice number, job number or artwork proof sheet we sent you with full details.

How can I pay for my order?

When paying for your order we accept payment by credit card Visa or Master Card and PayPal. If your order totals more than $200 you can also choose to pay by cheque, EFT (electronic funds transfer) or COD payment on pickup.  If you choose cheque or EFT, your order will not leave our premises until the funds have cleared in our account, so please ensure payment is prompt so as not to delay your delivery.

Do you give discounts for buying in large quantity?

At Inscribe Australia we believe you should be rewarded for buying in volume on every product description we supply or manufacture.The more you order, the more you save!  Just remember there is a minimum order of $35.00 +GST, if you just want to make a small order that's fine with us.

Order Placement & Delivery

What if my order is incorrect when it arrives?

Inscribe Australia has a high attention to detail and quality control checking before it leave our premises. How ever if such an issue does arrive we will make every effort to rectify the unfortunate situation in time for your project, job or event.  If an error has been made due to incorrect information you have supplied, we will be happy to correct the error (for a redo fee plus delivery costs).  We will send new replacement item as soon as possible as a priority.  More information can be found at our satisfaction guarantee.

I'd prefer to place my order in person. Can I come and see you?

We look forward to your visit! Click here to find our location details and book an appointment or just pop in.  Please note that some products and prices may be available exclusively on our website.

Do you surcharge for rush jobs?

Yes.  If you require your job in less than our standard production time of 5 business days, (and it's possible for us to do so within the time frame you require) you may incur a surcharge 10% - 15% of total order value, whichever is greater.  Additionally, if your delivery address is within the Australia Post Express Post network then it is possible for us to send your order via Express Post so that it reaches you the following day.  While we deliver your order Australia wide for a flat rate $15.00, if you specifically request Express Post we may require you to pay additional postage costs for bulky or heavy items.  Please request this service in the additional comments section (at the end of the order process, just before the payment page) while placing your order and we will contact you should additional fees be applicable.

Do you repair or refurbish older existing products from other suppliers?

 
Yes in some cases. Bring it in and or professional team will look at it your item and see If they can help you with your requirements. We will give you the best possible out come to save time and money.

Can you come out to site to measure and quote?

Yes we sure do as long as you are in within Melbourne CBD / Melbourne Metro please call and book an appointment call out with our team. Depending on the size of the project we are happy to travel anywhere to assist especially with large build projects.

Is all your work guaranteed?

Do you charge for samples?

If you require a physical complete production sample of the exact product we can do this for a prototype fee which we can quote you on. If this is a sample leads to a full production order or EG:100 + units We will refund the prototype sample fee based on full order is placed. So the sample in this case will be FREE.

Some label orders are also packed in list batches for easy location finding and installation this sometimes will require you to separate with a craft knife which is sometimes also provided by us.

How do I hang my engraved plaques?

Most plaques are designed to hang off a screw or nail head, they have a hole with a groove on the back of the plaque to support this method.  Some plaques are designed with a stand that allows them to sit on a flat surface - the product description of the plaque will give you details if this is the case. We can supply screws and other mounting accessories which are available as extras these must be ordered when placing the initial order.

How do I stick my labels?

All our labels come self adhesive with a medium grade self adhesive which bonds to most flat surfaces. Labels can be supplied without adhesive but you must let us know when placing the order. We also supply holes and pilot holes if required. We also have a range of label pins that can be purchased.

What is the charge for engraving and laser marking?

 
Engraving and laser marking is charged on and hourly rate and not per character like most engraving companies. This rate is based on your buying power with us.

How should I care for my plaque or metal products?

Caring for your plaque or metal product is easy.  Simply dust with a soft lint free cloth, and remove fingerprints with a polish. Polish and cloth can be purchased on our online e-store.  Never use abrasive cleaners, immerse in water or apply any type of adhesive tape as this may damage the surface. If unsure please contact us for further advise.

What is the maximum amount of characters allowed?

We will make every effort to accommodate the engraving you would like on an item.  Each item has an allowable number of free lines of engraving based on the size of the item.  If you require a logo to be added, this will take up some of your space available  Keep in mind that trying to put too many characters on an engraving area will make the text too cramped and it will be difficult to read.

What are your digital file requirements for engraving, printing logos or images?
